♥ 2004 • Songs for a New World - August 13th &14th 2004 During the summer of 2004, four college students plus one Branford music teacher rehearsed throughout the summer in order to put on a challenging and extremely moving Jason Robert Brown musical, Songs for a New World. The team of five spent their summer rehearsing for the benefit production because they all felt strongly about the cause. This show was dedicated to Branford High School Choir and musical director, Cathyann Roding. She has inspried many since 1984 and Colin is one example. "Thanks for everything you do!" Thanks you to everyone who helped put on this event

♥ 2002 • Colin's Cabaret: Broadway's Best! All Branford High School students are required to complete a senior project in order to graduate. Colin's project was directing, starring, and producing a show called Colin's Cabaret: Broadway's Best! The show was also featured Alena Fitzgerald and students from Walsh Intermediate School. When Colin and Alena could not find the perfect organization to recieve the proceeds from the event they decided to start their own charity (with the help of a few others). MusiKids was then born and their first benefit raised over $5,000 for the communities musically talented students.

♥ The Branford Festival / Running for MusiKids The Branford Festival is something MusiKids will always be apart of beause it is a special weekend where everyone in the community comes together to have fun, eat good food, and enjoy great music and other entertainment. It is also a chance for many local students to shine and perform for our town. This festival is very near to Colin because he volunteered many times as a youth and also served as the high school liason on the committee for 3 years. He also has experienced the thrill of performing on the main stage in high school and knows that it can impact many students lives. In 2003, MusiKids sponsored all of the volunteers at The Branford Festival. Currently you can sometimes spot us on at a booth on the green on Saturday and we also do a fundraiser at the annual Father's Day Roadrace called "Running For MusiKids".

♥ Running for MusiKids is a fundraiser where choir students, alumni, and friends of MusiKids find sponsors to support our cause and them running in the five mile roadrace. This event s all led by their teacher Cathyann Roding. 100% of the proceeds collected go towards MusiKids.
